Construction of the Biloxi baseball stadium is once again underway. A large crane appeared on site over the weekend, which will be used to install test pilings this week.

Developers expect the site to show progress as the month continues, predicting the team will play ball at the new stadium this time next year.

Windy Swetman, District 1 Supervisor for Harrison County, says, “Everything looks great down there, you know we have confidence in W.G. Yates and Sons, you know as far as the city and the county’s concerned right now, I mean, we just let the folks who are the experts go and do their job.”

If you'd like to see the team in action, the Huntsville Stars will be playing in Mobile from August 22nd through the 26th.
