Senator Thad Cochran's victory speech from Tuesday night was a little less demanding than his challenger. Senator Cochran thanked supporters for their loyalty and hard work over the past three weeks and entire election. Cochran says he is proud of Mississippi for giving him another chance to represent the state and make them proud.

Cochran says, “We all have a right to be proud of our state tonight. Thank you very much. Thank you for this wonderful honor and this wonderful challenge that lies ahead. Thank you very much.” After Cochran's speech, the crowd chanted his name and he thanked Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves for his support as well.
