Today: Under the rule of a high pressure system just to our east, dry and mostly clear conditions will continue for everyone. Wind speeds should remain calm to light from N/NE and temperature highs this afternoon should hover just below the 60º mark. Today's high (Gulfport-59º) will be below the seasonal average by almost ten degrees.
Tonight: Mostly clear conditions, cold quiet and calm. Low temperature above the freezing mark for most (Gulfport-34º).
This Weekend: A mostly sunny sky is forecasted with continued dry conditions and just a light breeze - perfect Christmas Tree hunting weather!. Temperature highs will be slowly warming to the mid 60's for this period. Low temps will still be chilly in the low 30's Saturday and (finally) the low 40's for Sunday. During the late weekend the light breeze will be steering in some clouds, no rain is expected until Monday.
Next Week: With the moisture cruising in from the Gulf for the start of December, a weak pulse of energy will be passing through the region late Monday. This will be the first wave of several next week that could trigger rain showers. This first wave will be the instability factor for just a slight and scattered chance of showers late Monday. Thanks to an onshore flow, temperatures will be warming to near 70º ahead of yet another cold front/low pressure system poised for the end of next week. This next system is expected around the Friday/Saturday timeline and ahead of it (Wed-Thurs) more rain showers are expected with slightly better intensity.
