Pascagoula Police rescued the teens from an overturned vehicle on Saturday morning. Today, students returned to school, grieving the loss of their classmate, Logan Eckert. Guidance counselors at Pascagoula High spent the day helping children deal with their emotions. Counselors met with many students, sending several home throughout the day. Melissa Windhem, one of the counselors at Pascagoula High, says, “Counselors are available. They’re processing grief and talking through their feelings and celebrating the life of the ones that we've lost.” Added counselors will be available at the high school throughout the week. Police are still investigating the accident. They believe that alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
