Biloxi Councilman, Kenny Glavan, Arrested for D.U.I.

Wednesday morning around 2 a.m., Biloxi Councilman, Kenny Glavan, was arrested for D.U.I. Biloxi Police pulled Glavan over in his red Dodge Durango for speeding in the area of the 1800 block of Popps Ferry Road. The officer suspected that Glavan was impaired and conducted a field sobriety exercise. Glavan was then placed under arrest and transported to the Biloxi Police Department where he cooperated with law enforcement. He had a blood alcohol content of 0.10. Glavan was then booked at the Police Department and charged with D.U.I. and speeding. His bond was set at $1,285. The councilman released this statement on Facebook: “I want to apologize to everyone in Ward 6 that I represent and to my family and friends. I attended a friend’s birthday party last night and will take responsibility for my actions.”
