Residents in west Biloxi should be on the lookout for the construction of a brand new Walmart Neighborhood Market on Pass Road. The Biloxi Development Department has issued a building permit for a new $4.2 million Walmart Neighborhood Market to be built at the corner of Pass Road and Tara Lane. The new facility will bring a new stoplight to the area, and will be equipped with a bakery and drive up window pharmacy.

Development Director, Jerry Creel, says the development will also open doors for other businesses to come to the area. Creel says, “They subdivided the property and created an out parcel out on Pass Road, so this will open the door for some retail, some other retail shops to go in, so we're excited about that as well. It won't just be a Walmart store, but some retail shops to go along with it."
