The Gulfport Police Department arrested Adrian Orlandes Walker was arrested on February 19, 2014 and Demon Leslie-Cerbin Williams on February 23, 2014. Both were arrested for the murder of Jeremiah Harper.
On February 09, 2014 at 4:26 a.m., the Gulfport Police Department responded to Club Illusions 2 located at 1925 34th Street in reference to a reported shooting. The on scene investigation revealed that Harper was inside the business when he became involved in an argument with Walker and Williams. Harper, Walker , and Williams were told to leave the business. The arguing continued in the parking area and led to Harper being shot to the chest area. Walker and Williams later fled in a Lincoln model vehicle. Harper was later transported to an area hospital where he later died as a result of his injury.
On February 19, 2014, Walker turned himself in at the Gulfport Police Department where he was arrested on warrant. On February 23, 2014, Williams turned himself in at the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and was later turned over to the Gulfport Police Department on warrant. Both were charged with the Murder of Jeremiah Harper.
After booking and other procedures, Walker and Williams were transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility to be held in lieu of a $2,000,000.00 bonds set by Justice Court Judge Melvin Ray.
This investigation is ongoing.
