Strong thunderstorms that rolled through the region will be sticking around for the next several days as an upper level disturbance stalls out over south Mississippi. This will generate some strong showers with lots of rainfall. We can expect on average rain totals across the region will be around 3 to 6 inches but some areas could be seeing more. A flash flood watch will be in effect until Thursday evening so expect flooding near rivers and low lying ares. Temperatures will be steady with highs in the mid 80's. Rain will begin to dissipate Friday night and we will have slight chances of rain through the weekend.
