A low pressure system centered near St. Louis is producing showers and thunderstorms across the south eastern portion of the country today as hot humid conditions are giving plenty of fuel to these storms. Temperatures have dropped dramatically after the thunderstorms moved through our region and less humidity is in the forecast. You can expect temperatures in the mid 70's tomorrow with some isolated showers sticking around for the morning hours before clearing out Wednesday Afternoon. Daytime highs for the next few days will be in the mid 80's with lower levels of humidity. Thursday will bring sunny skies and a high temperature near 85 degrees. Chance of isolated showers come back into the forecast for Friday.
