Showers and thunderstorms will be prevalent across south Mississippi Wednesday and continue for the next few days. An upper level low pressure will stall over the region and be the force behind these storms. No severe weather is anticipated at this time however rainfall totals will be extremely high so expect flooding in low lying areas and across streets. Southerly winds will continue to fuel these storms throughout the next few days. Expect moderate temperatures in the mid to upper 80's. Things will start to clear out late Friday into Saturday.
