Showers and thunderstorms return for Friday as a low pressure disturbance along a cold front will get plenty of fuel as it tracks into our region thanks to calm southerly winds. We will start off on the cool side in the low 70's but expect some showers and thunderstorms to roll through early in the day. After that we get a little break from the showers mid morning but another round is expected in the afternoon. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80's. We see a slight chance for thunderstorms this weekend but it will be more scattered and less organized than Friday.
