A high pressure system will be ruling our weather pattern through this weekend. Coming in from the west, this feature is keeping the Midwest and much of the Southeast in a warming, drying and clearing pattern (mostly). Local winds should also continue to decrease with an easterly direction - fluctuating from northeast to southeast. This warming trend will put our temperatures today in the low 80's with increasing temps into this weekend. Afternoon high temperatures will actually feel warmer. That high is not all "cut and dry". It is allowing moisture to sneak in from the east and that will likely create areas of patchy fog the next few mornings along with the start of muggy afternoons. Any rain chances seem to remain over the Gulf waters until the middle of next week.
