Last full moon of the year is setting this morning while slowly warming temperatures continue
Today: High pressure system will be on the move (toward the east) and while Wednesday will continue with the warm (67º- Gulfport) and sunny regime, changes (light wind speeds today around 10 or less mph) will be happening as soon as tonight.
Tonight: Mostly clear sky with a low temperature for Gulfport near the 50º mark - the warmer low temperature trend will also continue through the weekend. The wind should begin a shift later tonight, coming from the southeast around 10-15 mph. This weak (at first) onshore influence will be pushing the dewpoints up a bit and the trend to increase the humidity will be felt into this weekend.
End of the Week: By Friday, the temperatures should have already struck the 70º mark and this above average warmth, we should be in the mid/low 60's for this time of the year, will continue into Sunday. An advancing storm should be making itself known with the increase in clouds and humidity. Rain is expected for the later portion of this weekend and of course post frontal weather (clear, mild and dry) will rule right into Christmas Day with yet another storm system poised for the end of the year.
