I hail all the way from sunny Miami, Florida. Born and raised under a palm tree & a proud alum of the University of Miami Class of 2013 (GO CANESSSSSS). I come from a big Jamaican family that I couldn't be more thankful for -- even my brothers who took my Barbies and handed me a football instead. I am a self-proclaimed tomboy with a love of cars and sports -- needless to say, Cruisin' the Coast and the Biloxi Baseball Stadium project are big interests of mine!
The University of Miami's amazing School of Communication taught me the importance of understanding my new environment -- I simply cannot tell your story myself and I love submerging myself in the lifestyles of the people I meet here. My accent may be different, but I want to embrace the Mississippi lifestyle. At UM, I anchored our news program and had a segment on our sports show as well. I sincerely love what I do, I love my new coworkers, and I'm blessed to be here.
I am a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and a huge people person. Moving to the coast was a surprisingly easy transition: same weather, nicer people, less traffic. What more can a girl ask for?
Gulf Coast, I hope to make you proud, thank you for welcoming me.
