Ashley Feaster is the Chief Meteorologist for WXXV-TV at 5:30 p.m., 9 p.m., and 10 p.m.
Ashley started working at WXXV in July of 2013. Before coming here, she was a Meteorological/Oceanographic Data Analyst for the National Data Buoy Center at Stennis Space Center.
She started her career as the Weekend Meteorologist at WMDT-TV (ABC & CW) in Salisbury, Maryland, and then moved to KTKA-TV (ABC) in Topeka, Kansas, where she started as the Weekend Meteorologist before becoming the Morning Meteorologist.
Ashley continued her career as the Weekend Meteorologist for KSNT-TV (NBC), KTMJ-TV (FOX), and KTKA-TV (ABC), while working part-time as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Emporia State University, where she taught Severe and Unusual Weather.
She graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with her BS in Meteorology. She graduated from Emporia State University with her MS in Physical Science in December 2013.
Ashley is also a Captain in the United States Air Force Reserve, where she is a weather officer with the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron. She joined the Ticking Tri Bombs triathlon club upon moving to the Mississippi Coast and just completed her first half Iron Man the weekend before the launch of News 25.
