WXXV TV 25 seeks account executive to sell established and new customers on WXXV’s CW+ Network. Assist Sales Manager in establishing revenue goals and meet individual sales revenue budgets. Service established accounts and aggressively seek new customers. Responsible for coordinating traffic orders using the traffic system. Use planned sales strategies and company marketing programs. Develop and maintain awareness of the customers’ goals. Work effectively with Creative Services Department. Prepare accurate and timely reports as requested by management. Continue to personally develop knowledge of industry and market climate. Maintain community and industry visibility. Promote and support a positive environment for the station and its clients.
Formal education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising or related field preferred. Effective oral and written communication skills and mathematic skills. Access to daily use of personal vehicle transportation and a current valid driver’s license.

WXXV-TV, a Morris Multimedia station, has an immediate opening for the position of graphics artist.
The graphics artist will prepare broadcast graphics for news and promotion, print and outdoor advertising, and web content. Successful candidate will provide art and graphic support for the production of news, commercials and programs, in addition to art and graphics for station sales, public affairs and promotion needs. Strong computer skills and knowledge of all Adobe products are required. Experience with broadcast graphics systems and animation software a plus. IT knowledge and experience will certainly move you to the head of the class! We are looking for a multi-talented person with a “can do” attitude who is willing to learn new applications. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to follow and execute detailed instructions, the ability to work well under the stress of a live broadcast, while maintaining a good work ethic, energetic demeanor, and the determination to learn flexibility. The successful candidate will be able to work holidays and changing schedules.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Two plus years graphic design and television experience preferred; degree in Graphic Design and/or TV production or similar field of study. We utilize DMV & criminal background checks as a condition of employment.

College juniors and seniors must be able to receive college credit for the internship from their school. NEWS INTERN - News interns will be responsible for a variety of duties. They will be asked to answer the assignment desk phone, take viewer comments and story ideas, make phone calls, and set up interviews, as well as search for file tapes. As part of the internship, they will be offered the opportunity to go out on stories to observe a news crew as well as be given the opportunity to produce a resume tape. Advanced candidates could find themselves reporting and shooting stories. Depending on the intern's education, background, and experience, they may be offered the opportunity to report. The goal will be to leave with at least three on-air worthy stories at the end of the internship.
WEATHER INTERN - Weather interns will work in the Weather Edge, assisting meteorologists by obtaining information and materials for weathercasts. They will possess both an understanding of meteorology and graphics. As part of the internship experience, they will be allowed to create an audition tape. Interns will also have the opportunity to assist in live shots and work in front of a digital green screen.
NEWS VIDEOGRAPHY INTERN - News videography interns will work in the field with the crew and spend time in the editing booth. Interns should possess knowledge of Adobe Premiere. Other duties will include archiving stories on to hard drives and servers. Interns may be asked to locate file tapes for daily stories. Opportunities to attend commercial shoots are possible. Promotion and production possibilities will be determined by candidate’s abilities. The videography intern will also be able to make a resume reel using the station's equipment.
PRODUCTION INTERN - Production interns will work with producers and directors, as well as other department personnel in the planning and execution of television broadcasts. This internship includes editing daily newscasts, floor directing, and equipment maintenance. Working with lighting, audio, and entry level directing are all possible. Interns will work with on-air graphics as well. Interns should also possess knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Photoshop. Interns will also learn the functions of the audio board and will be exposed to the principles of virtual set technology.
