A Service of WXXV FOX 25 9 August 2008, Saturday Oldies Dance Due to some scheduling conflicts, we have had to change our Dance dates. As you know, we normally held Dances on the 1rst and 3rd Saturday of every month. Starting this month, we have switched to the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. In fact, our next Dance will be this coming Saturday, the 9th of August. It will begin at 8:00PM and last until 12:00 midnight. And as usual, IT IS ALWAYS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. The VFW is located at 4321 W. Gay Road in D’Iberville. The doors open at 7:00PM. As always, you may BYOB, and we have set-ups, cold beer, ice, water, sodas, snacks,etc. The cost is $7.00 per person or $12.00 per couple. We are fortunate enough to feature the #1 Oldies Band in south Mississippi in Nick Mattina & The Checkmates. You will hear the music of Fats Domino, Elvis, Aaron Neville, Ernie K-Doe,, and many other 50’s and 60’s Recording Artists. This is the largest show that brings the Spanish breed of horses to the Pine Belt. These high stepping horses will be showcased throughout the weekend.
