A Service of WXXV FOX 25 3 April 2009, Friday Arabian Horse Show Arabian Horse Show - Golden Stirrups I & II The Arabian Horse Show is coming back to Hattiesburg and will be held in the Main Arena of the Forrest County Multi Purpose Center. Golden Stirrups I will take place on Thursday and Friday and the last two days of the weekend will feature Golden Stirrups II. S. will celebrate Homecoming on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the Ellis Shoemake Gymnasium. Homecoming events will begin with our Annual Dutch Luncheon on Friday, April 3rd at the Front Porch Restaurant at 11:30 am. The restaurant is located 205 Thornhill Drive, Hattiesburg, MS. You are invited to attend the unveiling of the Forrest County A. H. S. state historical marker at 6:00 pm in front of the school. The Aggie Show Choir will be providing entertainment in a performance that has become a tradition at Homecoming. "Aggie Basketball-Remembering Our History" as the theme for this years Homecoming. Gatlin Brothers will perform at IP One of the premier country acts of the 1970’s and 80’s, The Gatlin Brothers will perform at IP CASINO, RESORT & SPA Friday, May 1, 2009 in IP’s Studio B. Larry Gatlin, best known for teaming up with his brothers nearly thirty years ago, developed a “countrypolitan” style country music. This was a trend of polished country music accompanied by stylistic pop musical arrangements. The band has produced a total of 33 singles. Some of them include Broken Lady, All the Gold in California, She Used to Be Somebody’s Baby and Talkin’ to the Moon. Showtime in IP’s Studio B, located on the 2nd floor of the casino, is 8:00pm. Gilley began his musical career as a “straight up” country-western performer in the 1970’s. He then moved towards a more pop-friendly sound in the 1980’s. His biggest hits include City Lights, Bring it on Home to Me, True Love Ways and I’m Your Puppet. He received several American Country Music awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year, Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Top Male Vocalist.
