A Service of WXXV FOX 25 10 January 2008, Thursday Divorce & Grief Recovery Workshops First United Methodist Church 2301 Fifteenth Street Gulfport, MS 39501 (228) 863-0047 First United Methodist Church Gulfport announces start dates for the following outreach programs: A new ten-week session of the Divorce Recovery Workshop will begin on Thursday, January 10, at 7:00 PM. The workshop is a structured program helping people deal with divorce issues, as well as offering a caring support group for those going through a divorce or separation. A new ten-week session of the Grief Recovery Workshop also begins on Thursday, January 10, at 7:00 PM. This workshop is for anyone dealing with the pain that follows the death of a loved one. Participants share grief issues with the goal of getting their lives back together. Broken Rainbow, a program for children dealing with divorce and grief issues, begins a nine-week session on Monday, January 14, at 7:00 PM. A support group for single parents is held at the same time. All workshops meet in the Education Building of First United Methodist Church on 15th Street and 23rd Avenue in downtown Gulfport. Child care is provided. The workshop fees are $30 for the ten weeks. The children of Divorce and Grief Recovery participants may attend Broken Rainbow at no extra cost.
